Life Transitions Counseling
Guide & Companion on your Journey through Life Transitions
Chris Morse McClure is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (inactive) in the State of Idaho. She graduated from John F. Kennedy University in June 1991 with a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. Chris was a counselor and intern supervisor for 17 years at Boise State University in Idaho before relocating to Virginia in 2010 with her family.
Chris brings over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples on a full range of issues. Having lived in several countries around the world while growing up, Chris has a special admiration for people facing cross-cultural issues and transitions. She also values the courage of those exploring their spiritual beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, or their place in this universe when living life "outside the box".
Chris approaches psychotherapy from a transpersonal perspective, valuing the whole person: your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions, and your physical, social and spiritual wellness. Chris speaks Italian, French and some Spanish.
Chris is a member of the American Counseling Association and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, and is certified in EMDR Therapy.
