I feel that my greatest strength as a therapist is my attunement with clients through empathic listening and non-judgmental acceptance. Clients are empowered to discover their own solutions when they feel heard and understood. I have honed the skills to communicate in a way that conveys compassion and understanding which supports healing. This allows me to effectively see both perspectives of a conflict with couples and to help them see each others' point of view.

I bring over 25 years experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples on a full range of issues. Early on my concentration was in the field of substance abuse. Over time I expanded my experience to include trauma and couples work through the practice of EMDR and Imago Relationship Therapy.

If we can listen to our hearts and follow what we know to be most meaningful for us, I believe that we can learn to create more fulfilling relationships both with Self and the world around us. It is a joy for me to witness people creating more satisfying lives.
